"An incomplete installation has been found".
How can I resolve the error "An incomplete installation has been found" when updating SOLIDWORKS?
Problem :
When you launch the SOLIDWORKS update, the error message "An incomplete installation has been found" appears and you cannot continue.
Resolution 1: Delete the blocking folder
1. On your computer, delete the "incomplete" folder in the path :
C:\Program Files\Dassault Systemes\SOLIDWORKS 3DEXPERIENCE\InstallData
2. Relaunch the update
Resolution 2: Reinstall the software
If Resolution 1 does not resolve the problem, follow the standard SOLIDWORKS uninstall procedure.
