"Cannot install in a non-empty directory"

Failed to continue. Cannot install in a non-empty directory. Please remove the content of this directory, or choose an empty one.

Issue:

When trying to install or update SOLIDWORKS Connected, you face the error message: "Failed to continue. Cannot install in a non-empty directory. Please remove the content of this directory, or choose an empty one."

When installing SOLIDWORKS, you must select an empty folder in Windows for it to be installed in. I you face this error message, you must have selected a folder that's not empty (it could have files or folders inside of it).

Solution:

Either delete the folder "3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS" OR Create a new folder to install SOLIDWORKS Connected in.

You can create a folder a name it "SOLIDWORKS Connected 2" for example.

The default path is %ProgramFiles%\Dassault Systemes\
