Discover how to find your drawings easily in 3DEXPERIENCE

The goal of this article is to add a "Drawing" column to your bookmarks that directly displays the drawing linked to your part or assembly.

Step 1: Configuration

First, click on the compass and search for the "Relations Control Center" application.

  • Click on the "+" and type in the name of your choice (in our example "HasDrawing")
  • In the "Included Relations" field, select "Drawings".

  • In the "Available roles for" field, select "Collaborative Industry Innovator".

  • In the "Applications" field, select "Bookmark Editor".

  • Finally, click on "Save" to save your changes.

  • In the menu at the bottom of the page, in the dropdown menu "Application", select "Bookmark Editor". In the dropdown menu "Default Relations Set" select the relation you just created (HasDrawing in our case).
  • Click on "Save".

  • In the dropdown menu "Relations Set", select "Document Relations".
  • In the field "Included Relations", add "Drawing".

- Finally, click on "Save".

Step 2: Add the column to Bookmarks.

First, go to the "Bookmark Editor" application.

Click on the three dots, then on "Tree List View Options".

Finally, check the "Drawing" box.

Step 3: How to use the column.

Go back to your Bookmarks, where you will find the "Drawing" column.

It indicates the parts/assemblies that have an associated drawing.

You can then click on the gray checkmark to directly access the associated drawings.

You've just saved 20 minutes of your time each day!
