This example guides you through creating and performing an external fluid flow simulation on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
You will learn how to:
- Use the Assistant to create a simulation that models the mechanical forces and dynamics of steady-state fluid flow.
- Define a fluid region internal to your model.
- Assign a material to the fluid section.
- Specify the physics of the flow, including thermal effects.
- Apply boundary conditions.
- Create a mesh of the fluid region.
- Request data output for pertinent variables.
- Check and run a simulation.
- Generate plots to view the pressure, temperature, flow velocity, and streamline contours of the fluid flow.
